Vuya Kabanyane Ilengou
Vuya is a seasoned brand and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience working across South Africa, East Africa, West Africa, and Europe. She has held senior management roles at Liberty, Old Mutual, and Telkom, where she built expertise in brand management, communications, and stakeholder engagement. After qualifying as a death doula, Vuya shifted her focus towards human advocacy, with a special interest in opening conversations around end-of-life across cultures. Since joining DignitySA, Vuya has helped us to develop our Brand and Communications Strategy, quickly standing out as a passionate and excellent spokesperson for the organisation.
