Find palliative care and support near you

If you have a loved one who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness it is important to know that accessing palliative care does not mean ‘giving up, and that palliative care is not just available for patients but for their support teams too.  It is a comprehensive form of care (that encompasses physical, psychological, social and spiritual support) that is ideally provided to by an inter-disciplinary team of specialists who support both the patient and their loved ones. The care often extends to the provision of bereavement and grief support, as per the diagram below.
